Changing your flight

Get in touch with us at +1-415-707-3944 or by emailing support@oneair.ai with your flight confirmation details and our reservations expert will be able to help you make changes to your flight.

Before you make a change

Be sure to read the airline rules and restrictions in your itinerary to see what the airline will let you do and what fees they charge for flight changes.

Airline Fees

Note that most airlines charge fees to make changes to your itinerary. If your booking is eligible for itinerary changes, the cost may include the airline’s change penalty for the booking (usually $200+), as well as any applicable fare difference between the original flight price and the new flight price. These will be shown to you before making the purchase.

Please allow at least 24 hours for our team to answer your request to change your flight. Should you decide to proceed with the changes directly with the airline within 24 hours of the first request sent, they may charge an additional fee to process the changes on their end. OneAir will not be held responsible for any additional fees paid to the airline.

Same-day flight changes

If you need to change your flight within 24 hours of its scheduled departure time or make other urgent requests, please feel free to contact the airlines directly, as they may be able to address your concern more immediately.

Exceptions

  • If you made your booking within the past 24 hours, you might still be eligible to cancel your booking without airline penalty. This way, you can re-book your preferred itinerary without having to pay the airline's change fees.
  • If you've booked a basic economy ticket, changes are likely not permitted by the airline.

Important

  • If you change your flight, you need to stick with the airline you booked with originally.
  • Want to change cabins? Say, make the move from Economy to First Class? Your best bet is to contact your airline to find out what they allow and to make your change. If you upgrade cabins, you'll be on the hook for any additional costs, including any fare difference.
  • If you miss or skip a flight, the airline will cancel all your subsequent flights on the ticket. All flights must be used in the correct sequence.
  • If you find any mistakes on your ticket, like a misspelled name, check out our Name Corrections section for info on what can be fixed and how.
  • If the airline changed or canceled your flight, check out our Schedule Change article to see what to do next.
